“And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!” -Revelation 15:3

Everything in existence culminates here. We are headed to this destination. To the final expression of wrath against sin. To the end of opposition to God's authority. To the Lamb in all his glory, dwelling with his people for eternity.

The faithful in this vision play harps and sing a very old song with a new name. They are singing the Exodus 15 song of Moses celebrating the coming out of Egypt, being redeemed by God. It has been transformed into the song of the Lamb. Jesus is the Lamb, the holy one, the righteousness of God revealed—this is his song.

Today, you get to join in this chorus. To him be all the praise. He has met the wrath of God against sin for us. He has vanquished the enemy. He has given you his amazing deeds of reconciliation and power for life. May the Lord's glory shine in your life today, as it will on that day.
