As we have been studying the way of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke we have been asking questions about what happens to those that encounter Jesus and how they live following him. In Luke 5 we see comforting, cleansing, and calling. Will we experience these things? Will we dine with tax collectors and sinners? Alternatives Medical Clinic Walk & 5K Fun Run for Life | We have the opportunity to support Alternatives Medical Clinic, our local pro-life resource clinic here in Escondido, with its annual Walk & 5K Fun Run for Life fundraiser on March 5th at Kit Carson Park. The run begins at 8am and the walk begins at 9am.
There are several ways to get involved. You can join some of your fellow Reservorians for this fun walk/run. (Kids and strollers are welcome.) If you are not able to attend, you can make a donation by either sponsoring a participant or donating directly to AMC online. Registration is required for each attendee. February Prayer Focus: Remember GX | Before the age of 40, Anli gained this professional experience: factory operations, retail, childcare, food service, agriculture, and household service. Though the educational opportunities for a GX woman were limited, Anli has diversified her skills and has successfully applied her outgoing, innovative personality. Now, Anli works multiple jobs to give her daughter the dance classes she loves and dinners out to celebrate her accomplishments. Anli helps her daughter collect and redeem recycled goods to teach the value and reward of work.
➔ Pray that the laborers of GX would know Jesus, who already finished the hardest work for the greatest reward, on their behalf. Pray that the Lord will use labor opportunities to bring GX in contact with the gospel. Pray the Lord protects those in hard labor, brings joy in work, and raises up fair and just supervisors in GX.
