Sunday we get a glimpse at who Jesus is and why that is good news through the story of two people in desperate need in Luke 7:1-17. Join us for worship and the word at 9:57 am at 2437 S Centre City PKWY in Escondido.

All Abilities Easter Event | We invite you to join us in attending or volunteering for our all abilities Easter event, on Saturday 4/2 at 2pm. We will have a story, some crafts and games, and of course - an Easter egg hunt! Buddies available to support VIP children upon request. RSVP required: disability@reservoir.church.

The main family activity during San Yue San is to visit the tombs of deceased relatives and ancestors.  It is the responsibility of the living to prepare food and pay respect to those gone before them, as to make sure that they are well provided for in the afterlife.  Some may take multiple days to travel or walk to different places to visit all the tombs. Leading up to this festival, towns are filled with incense, firecrackers, paper clothes and tinsel money for sale. Many people stock up to lay them on their ancestors’ graves.

 “The dead know nothing…Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun. Ecc 9:5-6

 “[Jesus] is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives.” Hebrews 7:25

➔Pray for Zhuang people to place their foremost hope in Christ, then honor their elders in response.
