Remember GX: Napo
The Yerong live in isolation in a distant county called Napo. They are extremely difficult to reach by outsiders. With a population of approximately 600 people as of 2010, the Yerong as a distinct people are considered endangered as future generations intermarry with other ethnic groups. And yet nearby people groups, like the Buyang, can also speak Yerong. Local believers with strong cross-cultural skills and are needed to reach the Yerong.
And Nathanael said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said, “Come and see.” (John 1:45–46.)
→ Pray that we will hear of God’s goodness through the gospel of JC among the Yerong.
