Remember GX: Sword Ladder

The Pan Wang Festival also includes some entertaining stunts, such as climbing a "sword ladder" and walking on hot coals. The sword ladder is a pole with the blades of long, sharp swords sticking out of a pole that serve as ladders rungs. The climbers ascend these ladders, also called a "mountain of swords," with their bare feet without being harmed. In another act, participants walk across a bed of burning coals, a "sea of flame," without being burned. A third stunt involves stepping on a series of bamboo lamps without extinguishing the lights. A fourth involves stepping barefoot on hot iron plowshares without burning their feet. Spectators are filled with wonder about how such acts can be performed.
