Some of your best friends, your family, and (sometimes even) complete strangers will deride you for your faith, for attempting to live a life of increasing holiness and complete trust in Christ. When we live counter to the culture, people notice, and people will criticize. In Christ, we are to expect this and keep on preaching of the grace he offers.
Whether people are quiet, verbally aggressive, or physically combative, the Gospel continues to go forth bringing grace in the chaos that some might live in newness of life in faith in Jesus. This is great news because we were once these people. We were opposed to God, living as we saw fit in idolatry, and the Gospel was preached. The Spirit regenerated our hearts, and we were given the gift of faith.
Out of darkness and into light. Living in the Spirit, judged in Christ and made spotless, righteous and part of the family. Revel in that today. Know that now you get to bring that grace to the crazy of life.
