This week we are excited to welcome Jon and Robin Rees to Reservoir. Jon will be preaching from Genesis 16 helping us increase our trust in Jesus. Join us for worship at 10 am 2437 S Centre City PKWY in Escondido.

Jon Rees graduated with a Business Degree from Taylor University in 1995 (B.A) and an M.A in Christian Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2008. He volunteered in youth ministry at his home church in Crystal Lake, IL (8.5 years) and then served vocationally as Pastor of High School Ministries at the same church (8.5 years). He then served as Pastor of Community and Connection in Washington, D.C. (5 years) before coming to serve as Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in August 2017.

Jon has been married to his beautiful wife Robin for 24 years. Together they have four children, David, Hannah, Micah, and Andrew.

“I'm excited to see the gospel take root in people's lives when they see the magnitude of what Jesus has done for them in His life, death, resurrection, ascension and soon coming return. The gospel changes everything and touches every part of who we are. When we grasp this, we are ready for whatever may come our way with a hope and a life that is secure in Christ.”

Christmas Fair | Our annual disability-friendly Christmas fair is coming up on Saturday, Dec 3 from 12-2pm (volunteer lunch provided at 11am). We need all hands on deck to provide some interactive activities and entertainment for attendees. Families are encouraged to volunteer together and we are happy to provide ideas and materials as needed! If you can't volunteer, we'd love to have you as attendees!
