He is God

Jonathan Shradar preaches on Luke 8:22-56. The power, mercy, and compassion of Christ won’t leave us the same.

Sermon notes.

Reflection:

Why is it significant that Jesus is God?

Why would he extend mercy and compassion so freely, should it be reserved for the obedient?

How do we live in light of his power, mercy, and compassion?

How should we approach the spiritual realm in light of who Jesus is and who we are in him?

Who are you going to tell your story to?

Time Will Tell

Jonathan Shradar preaches on Luke 8:1-18. The Christian’s work is tending the garden of their soul.

Sermon notes.

Think about it…

If you are a Christian, the seed took root! Even so, which of the soils matches your experience of life the most and how do you position yourself to be good soil?

Does the realization of different "soils" change how we share Jesus with our neighbors?

When you don't feel rooted or fruitful, how can you gain those back? Where do you go when tending the garden of your soul is real work?

How do you contemplate your legacy? If all your hopes, hidden and otherwise will be revealed, why not live boldly trusting Jesus alone now?
